Svanen + Fuglen

Meet Svanen + Fuglen from Oslo. When two icons of Oslo’s drink scene meet for Oslo Cocktail Festival, craft takes flight. Beyond the obvious connection in their names – the swan and the bird – Svanen and Fuglen Roastery share the exact same DNA when it comes to flavour and hospitality, and both have helped put Oslo on the map for coffee and cocktail obsessives alike.

Svanen has been pouring cocktails since 2019, inside an 1896 apothecary now protected as national heritage. Dating back to 1963, Fuglen preserves one of the most prominent heritages in Oslo’s coffee scene, while also being one of the best cocktail bars in the city. At the festival Svanen mixes cocktails and Fuglen serves coffee. Together they make an espresso martini with Fuglen’s beans, bridging the gap between your morning coffee and your favourite nightcap.
